It was a beautiful cool morning when EVACF volunteers and officers, Jenny Wallum, Carolyn, Leliani, Jonathan Mok and Angelo N. Songco met in Holy Trinity Church last 21 January for the first visit to two TOE2S schools in Pampanga and Tarlac.  Please visit the school pages for more photos and News at Maganday Nobokah and Standard Chartered Bank. It was the first time for the new PRO Angelo as well as new volunteer from Hong Kong, Jonathan and Leilani.

evacf school visit

First stop was at the NCIP in San Fernando where accummulated donations from volunteers were dropped off and school supplies picked up for donation for schools to be visited.  NCIP Region III coordinator Dr. Catherine Ramos was also picked up before proceeding first to the Maganday Nobokah school in Pampanga then theStandard Chartered Bank (SCB) school in Tarlac.  Donations of school supplies were given to the IP children and gardening supplies to the teachers.  A site inspection of the two school premises was also done and discussions with the teachers on improvements and upkeep of the schools.

Lunch was at an American restaurant along Fields Avenue in Clark followed by a short stopover at the Bacolor Church for some sightseeing and to gain an understanding of the destruction wrought by the lahar of the Mt.Pinatubo eruption.  The group split in Bacolor as Jenny had to bring Dr. Ramos back to San Fernando while Leilani, Carolyn and Angelo proceeded home.

15th January - Big Brother Pinoy visits TOE2S
Today NCIP & Big Brother Pinoy visited 4 TOE2S (2 Pampanga & 2 Bataan) giving slippers (flipflops) to the schoolchildren.  Dr.Ramos will let us know details & when it will be on TV. Alain will email members to tell them news of this event which is another positive result from our website information and teamwork. Also, we need members to be informed how & when to view Angelo & Robert on TV in February so those who can will watch them. EVACF was specially featured and our 2 worked hard !!!!!
