Principles of Traditional Origins Ethnic Education Schools (TOE²S) - The school building will be as traditional as is practical and will be erected by the villagers with the help of NCIP (National Commission on Indigenous Peoples) engineers. - Part of the cost of the school will be donated, but a part will also come from the village itself in the form of some raw materials and some labour - Everyone - including the teachers - works to keep the school clean, and the village community will repair the school building whenever necessary as they own the school. - Indigenous clothing is encouraged for pupils and staff and indigenous studies will blend with all aspect of the curriculum with indigenous teachers whenever possible. - Growing herbal plants and food will be part of the curriculum and supplementary payment for the teacher by the village will be in the form of a mutually agreed amount of seasonal food crops each month.
