| Generous donations for TOE2S Indigenous Communities, December 2008 | ||
| EVACF collects donated items throughout the year but is especially active during the Christmas Season. Members are encouraged to approach friends, relations and companies for any items that can be collected . Every small donation is valued. This year we welcomed many new donors and fully appreciate their generosity. We also thank our regular generous donors without whom this event would not take place. |

| For the last 12 years Sime Darby has supported the work of EVACF through the generous donation of their top quality T shirts. They have supported school openings, seminars and Christmas donations. In fact sometimes people say the AETA are the best Sime Darby adverts. | |||

| Beakers, water jugs, New towels and school supplies were donated by generous anonymous donors. These donations always come as wonderful surprises and we appreciate that people think of others during the Christmas season without thinking of the cost to themsleves. | ||

| Normally we take a group of EVACF volunteers, with their own vehicles, to distribute the items but this year donations were so substantial and weighty that this was impossible. The Philippine Army was approached and gallantly offered help, specifically AFPRESCOM, Armed Forces, Philippines, Reserve Command sent 5 stallworts to load and deliver. National Commission on Indigenous People NGO liaison officer Dr Catherine Ramos came down to act as their guide. WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF ALL OF YOU, EVACF EFFORTS TO HELP THE AETA WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE. THANK YOU! |
