The National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP)

NCIP is mandated to protect and promote the interest and well being of the indigenous peoples of the Philippines, with due regard to their beliefs, customs, traditions and institutions.  As such, it serves as the primary government agency responsible for the formulation and implementation of pertinent and appropriate policies, plans and programs.
