Botolan Serpentine stone crafters, Maporac Settlement, Zambales. Joaquin Cunanan Company , in 1997 , donated funds to create the workshop facilities for this project. This donation was facilitated by EVACF which also gave the group their first order. In 2003 EVACF supported construction of a school building, named MAPE AETA school nearby. |

Castro Art , Quezon City. This group specialises in boxes of recycled paper combined with hand made paper accents. They created boxes for several sets of Mount Pinatubo Ashglaze fundraisers, working very closely with EVA to perfect a unique design. |

Glass Art, Pasig City. This very small, family run, livelihood project specialises in recycled glass products. In 1999 EVACF persuaded them to try making Pinatubo glass - from the lahar. They made one example, shown here, however the expenses of production was prohibative. However EVACF bought them etching harware and continues to support them through etched glass orders. This group also makes attractive necklaces. |

Madapdap AETA ladies group, Pampanga. Madapdap make bamboo forks, knoves and spoons from the bamboo growing nearby. These AETA ladies are in a resettlement camp, meanwhile their husbands tend to the mangos in the areas affected by the Pinatubo lahar flows where they eventually hope to return to live. |

Montanosa Women's group, Mountain Province. Montanosa produce hand made paper using tree bark from indigenous pine trees. They provide attractive decoration to the paper by pressing flowers and leaves and attaching to make notelets, cards etc. Here we see a photo of one of their booklets.. |

Pag-asa Sa Paglaya , Muntinlupa. This livelihood project is a church outreach project which assists prisoners with their difficult return to society, using ccandlemaking skills for income generation. This group use their imagination to create most atttractive candles in all shapes, sizes and aromas. |

Pandaquaqui Settlement, Pampanga. These women make novel handmade paper ,with coloured rice grains, which we used for EVA projects, as decorative box lining |

QJC Livelihood project, Quezon City. These women studied livelihood skills as part of adult education in a correctional faciltiy. Their boxes are made form re-cycled telephone directories, so environmentaly friendly also.This project helps fund their families welfare and education. |

Salay, Misalis Oriental. This award winning group of indigenous people hand make paper, using local grasses and flowers. The resulting paper appears to be extremely delicate, due to the incorporation of flowers, but in fact is very stron and EVACF use it to line boxes of specially oredered Mount Pinatubo Ashglaze fundraising stoneware. |

Tagle Potter Village , Tagaytay. This village is dedicated to potters. Eva and one of the potters collaborated to design and sell a special ice cream bowl, co-ordinated with a coco nut spoon from Islanders Ethnic Arts and Crafts. This helped the potter to become better established and also providee the link with the other livelihood project. |

Vedruna Workshop women made attractive embroidered accents for decorating boxes and pouches for cell phones. This helped them finance their children's education. |

Wenceslau and Maryland Ressetlements, Pampanga. The livelihood groups within these settlements are assisted by SACOP and co-operate to create screen printed bags. EVACF have been using these bags for presentation of pumice stones, mugs and "spice on the rocks" since 1994. |
